Background: IT company SoftBank and Yahoo Japan just announced a new company called TV-Bank. TV-Bank is a company now in beta stage to transfer TV and movie contents over internet. ------------------ And as I searched at TV-Bank they had a tape about Johjima!!! (Johjima played for SoftBank Hawks) Go to the title link. There are 3 yellow squares with Japanese kanji to click. Click the bottom left one. You will get a 1.5MB stream of Johjima. (Some seconds of commercials first) Perhaps this service is only available to Japanese residents. If so you must go with a Japanese proxy. I don't know about Japanese proxies. Anyway try. Hope this information was worth a blog. ---------------- Inka-Wolfy reports that this site is only accept Japanese IPs. So a proxy is a must.

Can the server take the video load for a few days? If Dr Naka uploads it and Inka cuts out the proxy tag its free for a all for the time you can host it. I'd welcome any solution to get a preview of next year.
The stream is a protected Windows Media stream and I cannot download it to my computer. You need a fast internet connection (optical fiber recommended) and an IP Japanese origin (using proxy is a solution). The stream itself is about 5min at 1.5MB/sec.
I might be able to traverse around it if I could get to it, but I'm too tired/ lazy to try to work at finding a Japanese proxy server that is anonymous and works well enough and then actually working on getting to downloading the file.
I can load the TV Bank Softbank Hawks Channel page and can see 3 different sample videos with the "Miru" sign as you said. Problem is, nothing seems to be happening when I click on any "Miru" button. The message on the status bar is "javascript:;". Are the streams still available? I am also interested on the other streams :)

I read the terms of service of this site and they say it is only available in Japan.
So you must find a Japanese proxy server.

Okay, I was able to watch. I used IE. I cannot load the streams with Firefox. Arigatou gozaimasu!
I live in Japan (yea, free TV). I'll try it when I have time, but I have to use internet explorer (yuck!) I have Mac. That might be another issue.
